Minority Assembly
I was lucky enough to catch Minority Assembly playing live at this years Skateboard Rodeo and It was love at first sight. Well...it wasn't really at first sight cuz they aint pretty to look at but they sound pretty damn amazing.
What turned me on about the band was the raw integrity of the music they were playing and the honesty in their lyrics which are two things which i feel have been missing from alot of punk rock since MTVs demise in the late nineties. I could be way off the mark and its just one mans opinion but I SAY that these cats got the goods to rock the hoods! There is a cool instant familiarity to their music; with a bare bones up in your face sound and anthem style choruses, Minority Assembly flys the flag for all the social outcasts who still love that classic West Coast punk rock style.
Do yourself a favor and go catch these guys playing live, you wont be sorry.
